Kaizan AI Studios LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Kaizan Clarity. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use Kaizan Clarity:
- Email address — collected at the start of your session for follow-up and product communications
- Session responses — your answers to the 10 intake questions, used solely to generate your output documents
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details
- Usage data — basic analytics such as session completion rates (no personally identifiable information)
- Feedback responses — if you submit the in-app feedback form, your responses are emailed to us
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate and deliver your three output documents (PRD, Prompt Build Sequence, Tech/API Integration Guide)
- To send your documents to the email address you provided
- To follow up after the beta period with product updates and launch announcements
- To improve Kaizan Clarity based on aggregate usage patterns and feedback
- To process payments securely via Stripe
3. Third-Party Services
Kaizan Clarity uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Anthropic API — powers the AI intake wizard and document generation. Your session responses are sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their data handling.
- Resend — used to deliver your documents and session notifications by email
- Stripe — processes all payments. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data
- Vercel — hosts the application. Vercel may collect standard server logs
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
4. Data Retention
Your email address is retained for as long as you remain a subscriber to Kaizan AI Studios communications. You may unsubscribe at any time. Session response data is not permanently stored on our servers — it is processed in real time and delivered to you.
5. Cookies
Kaizan Clarity uses localStorage (browser storage) to remember your session preferences such as light/dark mode and beta session count. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your email address from our records
- Opt out of all marketing communications at any time
- Request a copy of your submitted data

7. Children's Privacy
Kaizan Clarity is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of Kaizan Clarity after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
